The twenty-first Sumo Bar Tournament arrives on Saturday, September 26. One zone, eight players, four qualifying matches, and nowhere to hide.

• Register with a linked in-game Global ID on this page or run `!signup sbt` in Discord.
• Set your preferred tournament region with `!prefer uk` or `!prefer ny|sf|mtl` before signing up in Discord.

Tournament format

• Players compete individually in Sumobar zones.
• The qualifying stage consists of 4 round-robin matches.
• Qualifying matches are played to 1500 points. Placement points are normalized for the number of players in each zone.
• The top 16 players by total placement points advance to two semifinals.
• Each semifinal is played over 18 rounds; the top 4 from each semifinal advance.
• The eight-player final is played over 18 rounds. The highest final score wins SBT 21.

Attendance and identity

• Sign up with the Global ID you will use in-game.
• Be in your assigned server and ready before the published opening time.
• Missing players may be replaced and the bracket may be regenerated before play begins.

Servers and assignments

• Select your preferred server through your RCL registration or Discord region preference.
• Regional preferences are considered but cannot be guaranteed in every round.
• Exact zones, connect addresses, backup servers, and approximate round times appear here after the bracket is published.

Conduct

• Tournament moderators may silence, suspend, kick, or ban anyone disrupting the event.
• Be competitive, be ready, and have fun.
