The thirty-fourth Team Sumo Tournament was held on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Two-player teams fought in four-team zones through three round-robin stages, semifinals, and the final.

Champions: Jam and Vov.

Rules & settings

Tournament format

Each team has 2 players. Every zone is 2v2v2v2.
The first team to 2000 in each zone earns 6 placement points; second earns 4, third 2, and fourth 1.
Placement points are totalled across 3 round-robin stages. The top 4 teams advance to one final zone.
Ties are decided by head-to-head round-robin results, then by the highest finish in any zone (or most first-place finishes).

Attendance and substitutes

Be in your assigned server and ready no later than 5 minutes after the scheduled start. Teams lock and the match begins after that grace period.
A captain whose partner is late may start alone, then invite the partner or a substitute mid-game.
If the captain is absent, the registered partner may start or find a substitute only when that partner supplied a valid Global ID at registration.
Once you play for one team, you may not play for another team in the same tournament.
